Practical tools, honest assumptions.

Pot volume is geometry; how a living plant responds is more complicated. Our calculators expose headspace, root-ball estimates and mix ratios so you can change them. Results estimate loose volume and do not guarantee bag yield or plant health.

A deliberately small plant library.

Our sixteen care profiles cover named species, a named fern cultivar and the cultivated peace-lily group. Care summaries draw from university extension services and the Royal Horticultural Society. Cat and dog toxicity notes cite ASPCA listings. Each plant page links to its sources and shows the review date.

The finder’s categories are editorial interpretations of that guidance. They are not a scientific ranking, diagnosis or plant-identification service. Scientific names help distinguish plants that share a common name.

The home interior and potting still life were generated for IndoorJungle using OpenAI’s built-in image-generation tool on 4 October 2026. They show imagined editorial scenes. They are not real customer homes, verified botanical specimens or evidence for our care guidance.

Established calculations, a connected workflow.

Pot and soil calculators already exist. We reviewed Omni Calculator, Gardener’s Supply and Houseplant 101. IndoorJungle connects measuring, mixing and record keeping; we make no claim that these tools are unique.

Built for wherever you grow.
