Find the right light.
Choose bright, filtered light. Strong direct sun can scorch the foliage.
Low-light tolerance never means a dark room. Observe the actual plant position across the day and through the seasons.
Water by observation.
Water moderately and ensure good drainage. Allow some drying between waterings when growth slows; very wet compost risks rot.
A fixed weekly watering schedule cannot account for your light, temperature, pot or mix. Check moisture and drainage before deciding to water.
Give it room.
An upright foliage plant suited to warm indoor conditions. Avoid treating all brightly colored Aglaonema hybrids as equivalent.
Living with pets
Insoluble calcium oxalates can irritate the mouth and cause drooling, vomiting or difficulty swallowing.
