Find the right light.

Use moderate to bright indirect light; protect from harsh direct sun. Variegated forms may need more light.

Low-light tolerance never means a dark room. Observe the actual plant position across the day and through the seasons.

Water by observation.

Water thoroughly, then let the upper quarter to third of the mix dry. Ensure the pot drains freely.

A fixed weekly watering schedule cannot account for your light, temperature, pot or mix. Check moisture and drainage before deciding to water.

Give it room.

A substantial climbing plant that needs room and sturdy support. Higher humidity is helpful.

Living with pets
