Find the right light.
Bright indirect light is preferred; low light is tolerated but can reduce variegation.
Low-light tolerance never means a dark room. Observe the actual plant position across the day and through the seasons.
Water by observation.
Allow the well-drained mix to dry moderately between waterings; avoid leaving roots wet.
A fixed weekly watering schedule cannot account for your light, temperature, pot or mix. Check moisture and drainage before deciding to water.
